Solvent for solventborne paints and varnishes.
For thinning alkyd, oil, urethane alkyd paints and varnishes and oil putties. Not suitable for thinning waterbased products. For cleaning painting tools and degreasing surfaces.
Before diluting solvent-based paint products, read their instructions for use. Add White Spirit to the product gradually to avoid overdosing. Clean painting tools with solvent immediately after finishing work. When cleaning surfaces from oil or grease, first test on a small area to ensure White Spirit is suitable for cleaning the surface. Work in a well-ventilated area. Follow safety requirements during use.
DANGER! May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways. Repeated exposure can cause dryness and cracking of the skin. Keep out of the reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Wear protective gloves / protective clothing / eye protection / face protection. If swallowed, call a poison control center or specialist / physician immediately. It is NOT RECOMMENDED to use tap water as an extinguishing agent
Do not empty into drains. Avoid release to the environment. Dispose of packaging, dry general and hazardous liquid paint waste in accordance with local regulations.
Store in a tightly closed container in a well-ventilated place at a temperature < 30 °C. Protect from direct sunlight.
