Paint Stripper
The product is used to soften and remove old paint and varnish coatings from mineral, metal, and wooden surfaces. It effectively removes alkyd, oil-based, and polyurethane paints, as well as water-based coatings, including textured coatings and adhesives. The product is also used to remove graffiti from unpainted surfaces. Under normal conditions, it does not alter the colour of mineral or wooden substrates.
Suitable for painted mineral, metal, and wooden surfaces. Use with caution on plastic surfaces (e.g. polystyrene, PVC, etc.); always test the product on an inconspicuous area before application. Do not use on aluminium surfaces.
Before use, protect all surfaces that are not intended to be treated. Apply the product evenly in a thick layer (0.5–2 mm) using a natural bristle brush, roller, or spatula. Allow it to act for 15–45 minutes, or until the coating blisters and softens. The required dwell time depends on the type and thickness of the coating to be removed. In some cases, several hours may be required. Remove the softened coating using a spatula, scraper, or wire wool. A pressure washer may also be used. If necessary, apply a second coat of the product. Lightly scoring or scratching the coating before application will improve penetration and increase the speed and effectiveness of the stripping process. When working on vertical surfaces, remove the coating from the bottom upwards. To enhance the softening effect, especially in direct sunlight or windy conditions, cover the treated surface with polyethylene film. After treatment, thoroughly wash the cleaned surface with water and allow it to dry completely. Do not use at temperatures below 0 °C.
Natural bristle brush, short-nap paint roller, putty knife.
