The surface must be dry (moisture content below 18%) and carefully cleaned of dirt, grease, dust, non-permanent and exfoliating material. If necessary, use Biotol E or Biotol Spray to remove mold. Clean the resin from the branches and cover with the primer Kruntex or Luotto Tartuntapohja Aqua. Sand previously painted or varnished glossy surfaces to a matt finish. Carefully remove the sanding dust. Follow the instructions for use of the products mentioned above.
Mix the paint thoroughly before use. If necessary, the paint can be diluted with water (up to 5% of the volume). Apply 1-2 layers to the surface with a synthetic brush. When painting, try to maintain a “wet edge”. Painting the second layer preferably after 5 hours. Darkened wooden surfaces should be primed with Kruntex or painted in several layers. It is advisable to paint new lining boards before installation. Operating temperature +8…+25°С and relative humidity below 80%.
The coating reaches its peak wash resistance in about 4 weeks; in the meantime, treat the surface with care until its hardness and wash resistance have reached their peak levels. If necessary, the surface can be lightly wiped with a soft sponge or cloth approximately 48 hours after paint application. We recommend using water and neutral or medium alkaline detergents (pH below 9) for cleaning. Do not use organic solvents, abrasive cleansers and hard scrubbing brushes or sponges. Hard rubbing can make the surface glossy. The coating is resistant to solutions of detergents in water, to oils and greases, and short-term exposure to weak solvents (gasoline, white spirit).
Clean the tools with water after completing work.
Store in a tightly closed container at the temperature between +5 °С and +35 °С. Protect from exposure to freezing and direct sunlight.
