Properties

Oil- based product for long-term protection from moisture and dirt.

• Penetrates the wood very well.
• Makes the surface silky smooth.
• Deepens the wood’s natural colour depending on the type of wood and highlights its texture.
• Ensures that hygiene is maintained in the sauna.
• Creates a water-repellent and dirt-repellent coating.
• The treated surfaces heat less and are easier to clean.
• Does not obstruct the natural “breathing” of wood.
• Odourless; does not change the characteristic “sauna” smell of the wood. Intended for surfaces in direct contact with people’s skin.

Purpose

For new untreated or previously oiled wooden surfaces

Surface types to be treated

Benches, head rests and back rests in saunas, etc.

Surface preparation before treatment

Clean dirty benches, rinse with water and dry them; then sand the surface and clean it from dust after sanding. The surface must be dry before application.

Application

Apply the product and let it absorb into the wood for 10–15 minutes. Perform application at temperatures over +5 °C and relative humidity below 80%. Repeat application if the surface is highly absorbing. Remove the residual product that has not been absorbed with a cloth. Heat the sauna for 1–2 hours and wipe off the product that has reappeared on the surface with a cloth.

Wash with soap and water after completing work.

Safety precautions

Danger. May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor. UFI: G330-E0V0-500W-NAJU. Do NOT induce vomiting. Store locked up.

Waste treatment

Avoid release to the environment. Dispose of the contents/containers in accordance with the current legislation on waste treatment.
Waste treatment methods: code 08 01 11*- Waste paint and varnish containing organic solvents or other dangerous substances; waste class (Regulation (EU) No 1357/2014): dangerous.

Storage conditions

Store and transport in undamaged containers at the temperature between +5 °C and +30 °C. Protect from freezing and direct sunlight.
