Wash resistance:
Painting ceilings in dry residential and public indoor areas (living-rooms, bedrooms, offices, hotels, etc.). Can be used for priming before the application of matt and semi-matt water-borne paints (Akzent, Mattilda, Akrit, etc.) on walls and ceilings in dry indoor areas.
New or previously painted mineral surfaces, including concrete, aerated concrete, gypsum board, etc. as well as surfaced finished with putty, plastered or covered with rolled finishing materials.
The surface to be painted must be carefully cleaned from loose or peeling material, dirt, grease and dust. Remove old chalk surface completely. Sandpaper durable alkyd substrates until they are matt and remove the dust thoroughly. If the surface is very dirty, wash it with EasyClean. Use a Fine Filler putty to fill cracks and dents or smooth the surface. We recommend using FINE-PRO FILLER as the finishing layer to even out the surface. Use Aquastop to prime surfaces that give up dust and surfaces with uneven absorption. Follow the product instructions for use.
Stir the paint thoroughly before application. Does not to be diluted when used as a top coat or applied with a roller. Apply with a roller or spray gun at the temperature between +10 °C and +25 °C and relative air humidity below 80%. Apply a level uniform coat. The second coat might be needed for surfaces in a contrasting colour. When using as a primer or applying with a spray gun, dilute the paint with water in the amount of up to 5% of its volume; use the 0.017–0.021” spray gun nozzle. One coat will generally be sufficient. Try to maintain a wet edge in the process of painting. In case the paint job is carried out in adverse conditions (draughts, the use of heating appliances, high temperature or low air humidity), we recommend using the Time+ slow-dry agent in the amount of up to 3% of the paint volume.
Under normal conditions, the paint coat reaches its peak hardness in 3…4 weeks, after which the painted surface can withstand cleaning. Use lukewarm water and neutral or mildly alkaline detergents (pH below 9) and a soft microfiber cloth for cleaning. Do not use organic solvents. Do not use abrasive tools or detergents, stiff brushes or rough sponges. Excessive rubbing may make the surface glossy. Wipe the surface dry after wet cleaning.
Roller (pile length: 10-14 mm), airless spray gun (nozzle: 0.017–0.021”)
Wash with soap and water after completing work.
Store and transport in intact containers at the temperature between +5…30 °С. Protect from exposure to freezing and direct sunlight.
